I updated my wireless router and needed to update my xbox 360 wireless adapter as well. This adapter is awesome, the speed almost doubled with this adapter versus the old one.
This adapter works wonderfully. Struggled for a few hours but once I got in touch with D-Link support and discovered my D-Link Wireless Router needed its Firmware updated. Once this was done then the device came up immediately.Be careful to have your wireless routers firmware current BEFORE trying to connect this device to your wireless network.
This product worked perfectly with the X-box 360. It costs half as much as the microsoft official adapter and is twice as fast. I just plugged it in and configured it through the X-box 360 console. The whole set-up took less than 5 minutes and I was up and running. I am using a Belkin wireless router and it worked perfectly. I couldn't be happier.
I got this to hook my satelite receiver up to the internet. The unit is very compact and isn't much bigger than a deck of cards. Setup was a pain and I wound up resetting my router's wireless security to get it to work. Setup on a security enabled network involves plugging the unit into a computer and manually configuring the computer's TCP/IP settings before you can get to the configuration screen to input your security key.Hooking it up to an Xbox or on an unsecured network would probably have been much easier. After that I just plugged it into my receiver's ethernet port and it was immediately recognized. Overall I'm very pleased with the way it works. It's an excellent low-cost way of getting any ethernet equiped device hooked up to a wireless network.
I had great difficulty setting up the parameters for AT&T wireless, very frustrating. Now that it is configured it has been working fine. The distance is a little short though.
